Last Fire Update for today:
A Type-1 Crew(hotshots) conducted a back burn operation along the dozer line that was established around the structures. the wildland engines held the line as the burning was moving and the structure engines foamed the house and monitored the fire behavior. Burn operations were going well until a wind event moved into the area, which caused the crew to stop ignitions. The lines held and NC-Fire Protection will be staging an engine at the residence overnight.
Grateful for all the help from multiple agencies including private contractors. special thanks goes out to my NC-Fire Protection Volunteers for protecting our homelands and people, holding Cheyenne Values high.
Please, stay off the roads leading to the fire. its a safety hazard to all, if you are not a homeowner in the fire vicinity please do not go near the road being used by fire resources. if you are out "just for a cruise" or "just looking at the fire" please do so from a far because we need the road clear for our engines. you delay our efforts and could cause an accident.
However, if you want to discover beauty less familiar to you, a holiday villa Mui Ne will be a perfect choice for you.
