The Northern Territory Government is coordinating with the Australian and United States Governments to host a one day Industry Day event in Darwin on Wednesday 21 June. Under the United States Force Posture Initiatives (USFPI), both Australia and the United States (US) will be funding and delivering construction projects. The US Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) is the organisation responsible for the delivery and management of the US funded projects. This Industry Day is being held to provide general information to Australian businesses interested in working with NAVFAC. This event will be of interest to businesses keen to provide construction services to NAVFAC. In addition to a question and answer session, there will be sessions on: US MILCON Acquisition / Contractors’ Proposal Evaluation Criteria / Post Award Construction Requirements Nominations are now being sought to attend the US Industry Day. Date: 21 June 2017 Time:Arrival at 0730 for 0800 start, concluding at 1700 Venue:The Grand Ballroom at Hilton Hotel, 32 Mitchell St, Darwin Cost: Nil.
